This is a great way to help your students/children memorize some great, positive poetry and speeches. Also included is a song to teach all the states and capitals of the United States.
These songs have piano accompaniment and vocals. All songs but two are recorded at two different speeds with piano accompaniment only and a third recording with vocals to help you learn these new songs. You decide if you would like to sing each song slower or faster. You and your class can learn and sing along with these songs by singing along with the vocal track. Then sing them with piano accompaniment only. It is like having your own private piano player in your classroom. This is a great CD for school teachers or others who want to teach value education through music, but don't play the piano or don't have access to a piano.
Each song (except the Gettysburg Address and the States & Capitals) is recorded three times as follows: 1) a track with a vocalist singing the song, 2) a piano accompaniment track at a slower tempo, and 3) a piano accompaniment track at a faster tempo. The Gettysburg Address and the States & Capitals are recorded once with vocals and once with piano accompaniment only. A copy of the lyrics will be sent with the CD.
Teachers may wish to make overheads of the lyrics for a class sing-along time.

About this CD
This CD is the culmination of years of writing music for teachers. Over the last several years, various teachers have given me poems and asked that I set them to music, which I have done. The songs have been sung and enjoyed by various classes and grade levels in many schools.
