A fun, whimsical song based on the letter "M". Can be used as a vocal solo or unison choral piece with piano accompaniment. Could also be used as a piano solo.

Watch on YouTube: Maxwell Moose

Text:
Maxwell Moose was a merry old thing.
He liked to dance and he loved to sing.
When he danced he'd swing his antlers round
When he sang he made a terrible sound.

He scared the squirrels right out of the trees.
He scared the bugs, he scared the bees.
So if you want to save your ears
Don't ask him to sing.

He scared the feathers off every bird
He had the worst voice you ever heard
One day a moose maiden came along
and she fell in love when she heard his song.

Now Maxwell sings and he feels so glad
Since someone thinks his voice ain't bad.
But if you want to save your ears
Don't ask him to sing.
