I start this day in prayer to Thee, so I can feel thy love
What ‘ere may come along my way, I’ve been blessed enough
I’ve been given Heavenly gifts, and I can truly say
Thou, dear God,doest hear my prayer and Jesus showed the way.

May I show...
Courage just like Nephi, I will go, and I will do
Confidence like Samuel to teach the gospel truths
Faith like Daniel to withstand Firey flames
Charity like Jesus and to remember His name.

Please help me…
Be kind and understanding, find ways to lend a hand.
Focus on the savior, his life to understand
I ask thee for forgiveness for the mistakes I have made.
I thank thee for the blessing of another day.
