Just like Joseph in the grove, I can kneel and pray.
I can call on Father’s name ev’ry single day.
Though I may not see his face, or his Son in light,
I can know They truly live with bodies just like mine.

Just like Joseph’s questions then, I may need to know
If I am forgiven of failings as I grow.
I can find a special place to pray in Jesus’ name.
I can feel right in my soul like Joseph—Just the same.

Just like Joseph waited ‘til answers came from God,
I can listen with my heart, for He’s my loving God.
I can feel (hear) Him telling me what I need to do,
Then I’ll heed His counsel and I’ll always follow through.
