An original Christmas song with text by Bergeta Williams. See text below.
When Christ was born in Bethlehem
the fields were green with spring,
and startled shepherds tending sheep,
saw angels, heard them sing.
Could you and I have been there too,
bidding our dear Lord goodbye?
Did we sing with that angelic choir
high in the starlit sky?
Had we not met in councils there
where the sons of God conversed
and promised to support the plan
that Christ would bring to earth?
Did we gaze in awesome wonder
at the babe in manger stall?
Some how, I half remember,
Yes, somehow I half recall.
