The purpose of this book is to give moderate to advanced pianists and musicians a reference book for arranging, composing, and improvising. This will be accomplished by working with lead sheets along with many explanations and examples.

This book is organized in the following manner.  A piece is presented in simplest form and then shown again with varying degrees of difficulty and explanations.  The six examples below are presented in the following fashion: 1) Lead Sheet, 2) Lead Sheet with a possible way of playing it with explanations, 3) Lead sheet with chord substitutions and other changes, 4) A possible way this might be played with more explanations, 5) More possibilities, and 6) More possibilities explained.
