Help me to remember the price that has been paid.
By the love of Thy pure Son, all my fears are stayed.
When he suffered for all sin, felt all pain and grief,
He rescued me from death and bought me sweet relief.

Entering the Garden, my Savior knelt to pray.
Sensing what was coming, He sought another way.
"Not my will, but Thine be done." Christ would bear the cost.
The bitter cup, He drank it up that none be lost.

Falsely jailed and tortured, He wore a crown of thorn,
Shunned by all His people, left lonely and forlorn.
Crucified upon a cross, nails pierced flesh and bone.
He suffered more, but meekly bore the cost alone.
 
Help me to remember my soul is not my own.
Purchased with His precious blood, I kneel at His throne.
When He gave His life for me, worth more than all gold.
