He was born as a Baby, oh, so mild, 
Though reared in a time of unrest. 
Needing to flee as a refugee Child, 
Our Savior fulfilled his great quest.

He was born as a Baby filled with love, 
And lived helping all the oppressed. 
Proving allegiance to Father above, 
Our Savior did never protest.

He was born as The Baby, Christ, our Lord, 
And died for mankind's perfect rest. 
Showing His promise of glory to God, 
Our Savior proved men would be blessed.
