I come to Thee this Sabbath Day
To worship and to attest
The sacrifice of Thy own Son,
And partake of emblems blessed.

I come to thee with broken heat
And a spirit that is contrite
To seek forgiveness of my sins
And a desire to do what’s right.

In lowliness of heart,
Burdened by life’s toil and care;
Wilt Thou Thy peace impart?
