After finishing my service as a young missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a small group of us traveled from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. I fell in love with this beautiful city. This piano solo is a reminiscence of my thoughts of Rio. It is not traditional Brazilian music, but music by a North American describing his feeling about this Brazilian city. Note: the term "Carioca" is used to describe people from Rio de Janeiro.
