Like lone shepherds in the hills on a starlit night,

We may search for Jesus, hoping for his light.

If we were near Bethlehem, we might carry staffs.

Now as we seek Jesus, He will lead our path.

Though the star on Christmas night guided shepherds there,

As we now seek Jesus, He’ll give constant care.

We may not hear angel choirs trumpeting His Name;

But as we seek Jesus, our path is the same.

As we seek and search and find, kneeling as we pray,

We can witness Jesus, like stars on our way.

As we listen carefully angel voices breathe.

Now as we find Jesus, He knows we believe.
