Long is the night when sin rules the day.
Let not your heart be cast down.
There is in Jesus, Our Savior, a pathway to life;
Salvation, His greatest renown.

No other name has the power to lift and to bless,
To raise up all men from the grave.
Purchased with suffering, His grace can restore sinful souls
With infinite power to save.

Be not afraid though darkness increase.
Fear not the flesh of man's arm.
