What will He say? What will my Savior speak?
Will I recognize his voice among the meek?
Or will He hesitate to call my name
‘Til I merit worth, still while He takes my shame?

What will He feel? How will my Savior act
When we’re face to face, and when He sees my lack?
Will He retreat and wait for further days

When He shall come, I’ll bow upon my knees
