Jesus Christ is risen!
He came forth from the tomb.
He burst all bands of death and hell
To free our souls from doom.
His mortal life He offered.
His blood was freely shed.
By His suffering is mankind saved,
And raised up from the dead.

Gracious god in heaven,
Please hear our humble prayer.
We thank Thee for Thy constant love
And for Thy constant care.
We know that Thou art faithful.
Thy wisdom we revere.
Thou hast sacrificed Thy Son for us,
That death may hold no fear.

Jesus Christ is risen!
This truth proclaim each hour.
No words can match the joy they bring;
