Someday I’ll see Jesus,
I’ll behold His smiling face,
I’ll touch His hands and feet and side
In some sacred holy place.
With out-stretched hand beckoning,
He’ll call my name in voice so mild,
I’ll feel his love engulf me,
He will claim me as His child.

He’ll invite me to heaven’s home,
Of His kingdom to be a part,
If I believe and obey His word
With a true and willing heart.
Someday I’ll see Jesus,
With Him I’ll want to stay,
So, I must live like Jesus,
Walking His path each day.

Oh, when that blessed day shall come
With glory, laud, and praise,
I’ll bend my knee in gratitude
In joyful song my voice to raise.
In that day I’ll see Jesus,
Behold His smiling face,
Touch His hands and feet and side,
Circled in His warm embrace.
