'Cross a green meadow lambs gambol and play,
Watched by The Shepherd in His quiet way.
Knows He the name of each lamb in His sight.
He guides them with love and He leads them with light.

All through the night He still watches with care,
No harm befalls any lamb while He's there.
If one should stray from the flock in the night,
He seeks to restore each lost sheep to His sight.

Never from danger or pain will He run.
He suffered all so to succor each one.
Comforts He all who are fearful or weep,
For this one true Shepherd would die for His sheep.

Hearing His voice, let us gather as one,
Heeding none other than God's Blessed Son.
He is our Shepherd and we are His sheep
When we let Him lead us, His blessings to reap.
