O Lord, how excellent is thy name
In the earth . . . in all the earth.
Thy glory spreads throughout all the heav’ns
From thy birth . . . thy holy birth.

The moon and stars all thy fingers made
Are in place . . . their perfect place.
Each fish in seas and all fowl of air
Men shall rule with God's embrace.

What is this man thou keeps in thy mind
Who is crowned with thy good grace?
Thou madest him to dominion take
Of all things in mortal space.

When I consider work from thy hands
Thou ordained but now man claims,
O Lord, how excellent is thy name;
Thy blessed name . . . thy holy name!
