Who is our God who calls the stars by name,
Who creates his children never, e’er the same?
He succors each, according to our needs,
Then He watches close to see how we’ll proceed.

Who is our God who listens while we pray;
Then He waits to witness greater faith displayed?
He knows each soul and serves us one by one,
And his goodness leads to Him ignoring none.

Who is our God who loves us ever still,
Even though we may be slow to do his will?
He loves us all and smiles when we obey,
So that on the cov’nant path we’ll always stay.

Do we know Him, our God with Jesus’ name?
Do we hear his pleas and know from whence they came?
Do we serve all his children one by one,
So we don’t forget his name and what He’s done?

Do we know Him, our ever-loving Christ,
Who prepared the way and paid the greatest price?
Do we know Him, the One who wants us close?
