So many hearts feel lost today,
walking softly through their doubts,
trying to choose the faithful path,
trying to keep hope from burning out.

That is why the Shepherd matters,
when the road is hard to see;
when questions crowd the quiet mind
and certainty will not agree.

He does not stand with folded arms,
waiting for us to be strong;
He does not demand perfection first
before we learn where we belong.

Instead, He goes into the night,
into the mess, the wild, the lost;
into the places we hide in shame,
regardless of the personal cost.

And when He finds us, there is grace—
no lecture spoken, no regret;
only arms with strength to lift,
no weight of judgment, no unmet debt.

He carries wounds we cannot heal,
He bears the tired, the weak, the torn;
He brings us back where we are safe,
back to love where hope is born.
