Who is this soul, our blessed Mother Eve,
Who was formed by God from bone attached to bone?
From Adam’s rib he gave and honored God.
With a helpmeet then, he would not be alone.

Where would we be without our Mother Eve?
We would not be clothed in mortality.

Who is this soul who dwelt in Eden’s grove,
And who lived in peace, yet wanted to be wise?
She made a choice, the most important choice,
So mankind could live and gain God’s holy prize.

Our Mother Eve, who freely granted breath,
