A beautiful, sacred Christmas hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.

YouTube video: Follow His Star, hymn

Text:
A baby born, soon wrapped in swaddling bands,
Was giv’n by God and placed in Mary’s hands.
Then angels came rejoicing at the sight,
Advising shepherds in the dark of night:

When wisemen came in search of their new King,
Each chose to take a gift for worshipping.
What will we lay down at our Savior’s feet
To feel His light and make our love complete?

His light still shines to guide each mortal sight,
Just like the star on that first Christmas night.
And as we bid each shadow to depart,
His perfect light will settle in our hearts.

Chorus:
Follow the star and then you will find
Sweet Baby Jesus . . . pure love defined.
Follow His star and you will be led
Out of all darkness to His light instead.
