A beautiful, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mark R. Fotheringham.

YouTube video: If I Can But Endure, hymn

Text:
I bow my head in prayer.
I cast my thoughts on high.
As I kneel beside this bed,
All my troubles seem to fly.
For the Lord has blessed me greatly
And His promises are sure.
He will lead me on to glory
If I can but endure.

The world in which I walk,
Is beautiful and fair.
Even so, the lure of sin
Is a lie that's always there.
But the Lord has blessed me greatly,
Given strength to keep me pure.
He will lead me on to glory
If I can but endure.

Much more have I to do
To serve my fellow man.
Though my body seeks to rest,
I must work the best I can.
Since the Lord has blessed me greatly,
And in Him is ev'ry cure,
He will lead me on to glory
If I can but endure.
