1. Tumults in the latter days,

Tempests teaching men to pray

To the God of pow’r and might,

Helping us to choose the right.

2. Ever since the days of old

Many prophets have foretold

He'll return, the King of Kings,

Bringing healing in His wings.

3. All our hopes and all our fears,

All our dreams through all the years

Lead us all to that great day

When our dear Savior comes again.

Stand fast! The righteous need not fear

Christ the Lord is ever near.
