Socrates and his companions

Sat in a circle on the floor;

One man leaned against another

So wisdom could flow to even more.

Each man had a shining virture

Greater than his brother;

By touching shoulders those gifts

Flowed ‘round the circle to many others.

Let me lean on those around me;

Each is superior in some way;

Let me learn from your wisdom;

Let your gifts flow to me today.
