1. Gentle hands are placed upon my head, 

and a blessing is conferred 

through prophetic gift  by a servant of God, 

I am blessed through priesthood pow'r. 

How my heart is stirred as the words   

are giv'n in the name of Christ our Lord.

2. Priesthood blessings are a sacred gift,

giv'n to edify and console,

I do feel God's  infinite love over me

I am lifted and renewed.

All my doubts and fears  are swept away

as I'm blessed with priesthood pow'r.

3. An inspired statement from my God 

witness of the truths I seek, 

When  I pass through sickness, adversity, 

I am strengthened by His word, 

Needed inspiration flows liberally 

when I listen to the Lord.

4.Blessings testify of God's great care, 

and of Christ's divinity, 

Giv'n as personal revelation to me  

if I'm worthy to receive. 

As I strive to live my life faithfully. 

I am blessed through priesthood pow'r.
