Like the star of Bethlehem radiating streams of pure light,
Like the shepherds on the plains guarding flocks by night,
Like the angel from the heav’ns bringing peace and hope to the earth,
Christ, the Babe of Bethlehem, guides each soul from birth.

High up in the earthly skies, heaven’s brightness shines from above,
Casting light on ev’ry being with His perfect love.
And like lambs who need a guide, Jesus is uniquely the One.
Leading us in righteousness, He would have us come.

Like each angel from the heav’ns, Jesus lends his peace to our hearts,
And the Christmas miracle shines forth from the start.
