Our living Christ . . . died so all God’s children could be spared;
Spared by Him to save each in his care . . .
Died to bring all mortals safely home,
Home to kneel before his humble throne.

Our living Christ . . . died to raise his body from the tomb;
Died to raise mankind from endless doom,
Saving all God’s children everywhere
So we can be ever where He dwells.

Our living Christ . . . died to reunite a spirit soul
With each mortal body and be whole . . .
Whole to live again within God’s sphere
With His love forever to be near.
