An original hymn with text by Mark Fotheringham below.  Watch on YouTube: Today, Tomorrow and Forever

Today the world is ever changing.

The truth is hidden in the haze.

Alas, the journey which we travel

Resembles something of a maze.

But Thou, Thou art a steadfast anchor,

A fortress for our sure defense,

A constant ever sure reminder

That love and goodness still make sense.

CHORUS

Today, Tommorow and Forever.

Oh, Thou wilt always be the same.

Unchanging ever in Thy Glory,

Rely we now upon Thy Name.

Tomorrow is a paper promise,

Our plans, papyrus near a flame.

We see no farther than horizons.

In pride, we seek the world to tame.

Yet Thou can see end from beginning.

Thou knowest every blade of grass,

And guide in wisdom all Thy children

Who, faithful, wait for Thee to pass.

CHORUS

Forever wavers in the future,

A thought unfocused in the dark.

Is death to be a final curtain

To cover every living spark?

The promise of the resurrection

Gives hope to all who heed Thy Word

To raise us all to light and living

Eternally, the spirit stirred.
