Jesus is a faithful shepherd, watchful ever o'er His sheep.

Shielding them from daily danger, guarding them in sleep.

Lovingly He leads His flock to pastures soft and fair.

Following His voice, they thrive in His tender care.

When the lambs are rudely scattered, when the wolves descend to prey,

He will gently call and gather; He will show the way.

If a lamb should ever stray afar in trembling fear,

Christ will find and carry home. Ev’ry lamb is dear.

Jesus is a loving shepherd, knowing ev'ry lamb by name,

Reaching out to heal each heart and rescuing the lame.

He shall one day lead them home, to heaven filled with light.

Those who answer Him shall wear wool of spotless white.
