1. Glorious rays of sunshine, Brilliant skies of blue,

Radiant day of springtime Joseph seeking truth,

Gentle breezes blowing hallowed be that day,

Joseph sought the Father, kneeling there to pray.

2. Splendid flowers of springtime clothed in radiant hues,

humble, yearning prophet searching for God's truths

Long the age of darkness held the world in sin,

Now the heav'ns would open God to speak again. 

3. Joseph prayed to Father begging wisdom's sight,

Suddenly the heavens burst in glorious light,

Jesus and the Father came to earth once more,

Speaking to a prophet, bringing truths assured.

4. Restoration morning long awaited came.

Timeless gospel message wondrously aflame,

Jesus and the Father teach us as before

With the holy angels, all has been restored.
