A sacred hymn with text from Psalm 107. Watch on YouTube: Praise Ye the Name of The Lord

1. Hungry and cold, I cry to the Lord, for He leadeth the wandering trav 'ler,

Weary and lost, in this vast wilderness yet my soul is redeemed of the Lord.

He leads me forth by the strength of my hand, Oh, how I'll praise Him with gladness.

Praise ye His name, for his infinite goodness. Praise ye the name of the Lord.

2. Troubled, distressed, in the shadow of death, Still I cry to the Lord to send mercy,

Darkness and grief, afflicted,  in pain, yet He comforts my heart with His grace.

Humbly I cry out in praise to His name, Praising his wonderful workings,

Praise ye His name, for his infinite goodness. Praise ye the name of the Lord.

3. Bound by the chains of transgression and guilt, 'Til my Savior doth break them assunder.

Lonely, alone, with no friend to attend, yet my Savior remains near to me.

Thanks be to God, for He strengthens me still, Changing my weakness to courage.

Praise ye His name, for His mercy endureth, Ever His mercy endures.

4. Storm clouds abound, raging storms all around, But the Lord God doth quiet the tempest.

Thirsty and faint, full of fear and regret, but He rescueth me from distress.

Oh how all people should praise His great name, Let them exalt his great kindness.

Praise ye His name, for his mercy endureth. Ever His mercy endures.
