1. The Savior of mankind,

Redeemer, Lord, and King.

Creator of the heav'n and earth

in His premortal sphere.

The Lord of all then came to earth

to be as though a man.

Though born in mortal form;

yet is the Son of God above.

2. The Savior of my soul,

Exemplar, Light, and Friend.

Obedient Son of Righteousness

through all eternity.

My Savior marked the path for me,

He lived as I must live.

For in Him lives the love 

of God for all humanity.

3. The Savior of my soul,

Deliv'rer, Prince of all.

Atoner of my grief and guilt

in His Gethsemane.

The Lord of Hosts,

He groaned and bled to pay the price of sin.

And as it were great drops of blood,

flowed freely for us all. 

4. The Savior of mankind,

Redeemer, Lord, and King.

Eternal God, Eternal King,

He died on Calvary.

The mighty Prince of light and life,

then broke the bands of death.

That through this sacrifice

we all will rise up from the grave.
