We’ll light the world; it starts with one spark,

One little light glowing bright in the dark.

It starts as a thought, then grows to a deed,

As we reach out to help someone in need.

We’ll light the world, as more sparks catch fire;

One act of kindness others inspires.

Soon the fire is growing, spreading far and wide,

Let our talents and time from Him never hide.

Bring your own candle, hold it close to ignite;

Soon it will be glowing, pushing back the dark night;

A burden to lift, a trial to share,

With Christ’s love we can show that we really care.

Many lights are spreading, the whole earth to fill,

Showing that goodness can rule the world still.

We serve in God’s name at this Christmas time;

Let His love and light through us ever shine.
