As I learn the gospel of my Savior dear,
I desire His Spirit always to be near.
Longing to be baptized in the name of God.
I will covenant, now, to clasp the iron rod.
Am I really worthy of His love for me?
My poor heart is willing that it be made free.
Am I really worthy, life to be made new?
I will enter, now, these waters strong and true.

As I live the gospel, daily facing strife,
I must hear His spirit always in my life.
Longing for the blessings of Eternity,
I will enter now the temple willingly.
Am I really worthy of His love for me?
Can my heart to be changed to cherish charity?
Am I really worthy? Covenants empow'r.
I will enter temple doors this very hour.

As I bow before my Savior on that day,
I will know His Spirit as He speaks to say,
"Grasp my hand, my child, you've passed your mortal test.
You are proven worthy. Enter now my rest."
Now I know I'm worthy of His love for me.
Qualified for mercy, Christ has made me free.
Covenants I've kept to earn the better part;
He has lifted me and sanctified my heart.
