The sacred Sabbath beckons you
To leave the world behind
And gather here as saints of God,
To praise with heart and mind.

A day to remember God and His Son,
A day from care to rest,
Here our covenants to renew,
The Sabbath our lives has blessed.

The seventh day our Lord took rest
When all the world was made,
And hallowed this one day for us,
To cease from worldly trade.
